About Us 

The Good Samaritan Association (GSA) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization registered under the Societies Act in June 2002, with headquarters in Selibe-Phikwe. Established on 22 February 2000, GSA was born out of the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) Church HIV/AIDS Committee formed in 1997 after the National Sisters’ Conference in Selibe-Phikwe.

Article 1(c) of our constitution affirms that GSA is the social wing of the Apostolic Faith Mission in Botswana. While we are a registered entity with independent governance, we continue to view AFM as our parent body. Our roots in the AFM Sisters’ Union Department give us a Christlike DNA that guides our vision and mission.
